Pero prefiri\u00f3 no entrar en detalles, aunque los miembros del Comit\u00e9 del Senado sobre Fuerzas Armadas insistieron en aclarar la estrategia final del conflicto en Siria.<\/div>\n<p>\u201cLa decisi\u00f3n de aplicar o no la fuerza (en Siria) depende de altas figuras, de nuestros funcionarios elegidos. Ser\u00eda inadecuado que yo trate de influir en la decisi\u00f3n dando en p\u00fablico una opini\u00f3n acerca de qu\u00e9 tipo de fuerza deber\u00edamos usar\u201d, explic\u00f3 el general durante la audiencia del Comit\u00e9 de las Fuerzas Armadas del Senado.<\/p>\n<p>Por su parte, el subjefe del Estado Mayor Conjunto, el almirante James Winnefeld, afirm\u00f3 que \u201cen este caso consideramos que es posible cualquier acci\u00f3n\u201d. \u201cEstamos listos para actuar si es necesario\u201d, enfatiz\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>Cabe recordar que en junio la Administraci\u00f3n Obama acus\u00f3 al presidente sirio, Bashar al Assad, de haber utilizado\u00a0<a title=\"\" href=\"http:\/\/actualidad.rt.com\/video\/actualidad\/view\/96642-siria-armas-quimicas-guerra\" target=\"_self\">armas qu\u00edmicas<\/a>.
