Bush hab\u00eda mentido a la Naci\u00f3n para llevarla a la guerra con Irak.<\/h5>\n<p><span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" width=\"696\" height=\"392\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/azq3OW62j6w?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=es-ES&#038;autohide=2&#038;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" style=\"border:0;\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox\"><\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u201cHubo\u00a0una campa\u00f1a acordada<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>por parte del gobierno de\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/actualidad.rt.com\/tag\/Bush\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">George W. Bush<\/a>\u00a0para\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/actualidad.rt.com\/actualidad\/view\/104122-provocaciones-eeuu-guerra\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">vincular a Irak<\/a>\u00a0con el horror de los ataques del 11 de septiembre en la opini\u00f3n p\u00fablica. Esa campa\u00f1a tuvo \u00e9xito\u201d, insisti\u00f3 el jueves Levin ante el pleno del Senado, seg\u00fan recoge\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/bigstory.ap.org\/article\/481f6f46f7404be693ac1cbdb6e04f14\/senator-bush-misled-nation-run-iraq-war\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AP<\/a>. Asimismo acentu\u00f3 que las encuestas de la \u00e9poca revelaban que\u00a0un 70%\u00a0de la poblaci\u00f3n\u00a0estaba segura de que el ex l\u00edder iraqu\u00ed,\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/actualidad.rt.com\/tag\/Saddam-Hussein\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Saddam Hussein<\/a><\/strong>,\u00a0estaba involucrado en los atentados.<\/p>\n<p>Levin record\u00f3 c\u00f3mo el 9 de diciembre de 2001, el entonces vicepresidente Dick Cheney apareci\u00f3 en el programa \u201cMeet the Press\u201d para decir: \u201cEst\u00e1 bastante confirmado\u00a0que Mohamad Atta fue a Praga y se reuni\u00f3 con un funcionario de alto rango del servicio de\u00a0inteligencia iraqu\u00ed\u00a0en abril pasado, varios meses antes del ataque\u201d. Atta fue el hombre que encabez\u00f3 el secuestro de los aviones usados en el ataque del 11-S.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLas conexiones entre Saddam y el 11-S o Al Qaeda eran<strong>\u00a0ficci\u00f3n<\/strong>\u201c, puntualiz\u00f3 Levin y present\u00f3 como prueba un cable que recibi\u00f3 del director de la CIA, John Brennan. El documento se\u00f1ala que es posible que dicho encuentro hubiera tenido lugar, pero que no fue en Praga en las fechas mencionadas, ya que Atta se encontraba en EE.UU. por aquellos d\u00edas.<\/p>\n<p>El mismo cable detall\u00f3 que la informaci\u00f3n sobre la presunta reuni\u00f3n proven\u00eda de una sola fuente y que la CIA advert\u00eda en aquel momento que era muy probable que fuera\u00a0<strong>falsa<\/strong>. \u201cNo existe un solo experto\u00a0antiterrorista o del FBI que haya dicho que tiene evidencia o conocimiento de que (Atta) ciertamente estuvo en Praga.
