Israel est? jugando en sus relaciones con sus vecinos a dos bandas, de un lado usando la baza de la amenaza militar y de otra la de la negociaci?n. En realidad, ambas persiguen un ?nico objetivo, enfrentar el poder?o militar y econ?mico de Ir?n,?<a href=\"http:\/\/www.aurora-israel.co.il\/nota.php?art_id=28321&amp;from=portada&amp;des=1\">dejarla sin aliados regionales<\/a>?y sin influencia alguna en la pol?tica de Oriente Medio.??<\/p>\n<p>Para ello tiene frentes diplom?ticos abiertos con Hezbollah, con quien en breve alcanzar? un acuerdo de intercambio de prisioneros; con Siria, con quien negocia a trav?s de Turqu?a la devoluci?n del Gol?n ocupado; con Hamas con la colaboraci?n de Egipto que ha cristalizado en un <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oicpalestina.org\/ver_noticias.php?id=3500\">alto el fuego a?n vigente<\/a> y, obviamente, con la Autoridad Nacional Palestina. En la cumbre de Par?s Olmert le espet? a Abbas que la paz entre sus pa?ses ?<a href=\"http:\/\/www.heraldo.es\/index.php\/mod.noticias\/mem.detalle\/idnoticia.18198\/relcategoria.306\"><span style=\"color: #000000; text-decoration: none\" class=\"Apple-style-span\">nunca hab?a estado tan cerca<\/span><\/a>? anunciando en breve la toma de decisiones trascendentales que situar?n el di?logo en un nivel diferente. Es obvio que el proceso se est? llevando de manera encubierta y que no conocemos sus interioridades, pero s? que es posible manejar datos indirectos, coyunturas y situaciones para poder atisbar por d?nde pueden ir los tiros futuros ?en el sentido literal de la palabra.??<\/p>\n<p>Pero no hay muchos motivos para la esperanza. Olmert est? a punto de ser procesado y acusado por corrupci?n, desde el fiasco de la invasi?n de L?bano ha sido incapaz de reponerse, no tiene apoyo popular y no est? en condiciones de hacer ninguna concesi?n para alcanzar una paz con un m?nimo de justicia con los palestinos o los sirios. A Abbas tampoco le van mejor las cosas, gobierna gracias a un golpe de estado apoyado por Israel y EEUU, est? totalmente desprestigiado y no tiene control alguno sobre la franja de Gaza. Si restablece la legalidad y deja gobernar a Hamas tal y como mandataron las elecciones, se le acabar?a la luna de miel con sus captores y aliados y terminar?a m?s o menos como Arafat, pero si no presenta pronto alg?n avance pronto, tambi?n se puede dar por dimitido y deber?a ir pensando en disolver la ANP para endosar a Israel sus deberes como potencia ocupante.?La ra?z del problema es que no hay salida posible que pase por la constituci?n de dos estados. El nivel de ocupaci?n de Palestina es demasiado alto como para poder partir un territorio de manera que haya una separaci?n n?tida con Israel. Tampoco es probable que se le deje al nuevo estado el control de la ribera del Jord?n, ni a Siria las orillas del Tiber?ades junto al Gol?n, ni que se detenga la colonizaci?n de Jerusal?n, ni que se deje a los ?rabes el control de la mezquita de al-Aqsa.
