El gobierno iraqu\u00ed se puso digno unos d\u00edas y <span class=\"Apple-style-span\">exigi\u00f3<\/span> para renovar el permiso de permanencia a las tropas invasoras un calendario claro de retirada total de efectivos. Fue un buen intento, quiz\u00e1 incluso sincero, pero la dignidad\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.elpais.com\/articulo\/internacional\/Bush\/Maliki\/rechazan\/fijar\/fecha\/retirada\/estadounidense\/Irak\/elpepuint\/20080718elpepuint_13\/Tes\">no le ha durado ni un un asalto del comandante en jefe<\/a>. A las primeras de cambio, Maliki ha vuelto a la ambig\u00fcedad del mensaje ese de que las tropas se ir\u00e1n <span class=\"Apple-style-span\">cuando las condiciones de seguridad sean favorables para ello<\/span>. Y eso es tanto como decir nunca, con todo el trabajo que se han tomado para privatizar el petr\u00f3leo de Irak y operarlo en d\u00f3lares, es impensable una retirada total cuando han entregado el pa\u00eds a shiitas compa\u00f1eros de Ir\u00e1n, el actual enemigo a batir.
