Kurt Volker, recientemente nombrado embajador de EEUU en la OTAN,<a href=\"http:\/\/www.publico.es\/144598\/rusia\/anuncia\/retirada\/georgia\/completa#comentarios\"> declar? ayer que estaba perfectamente al tanto de los planes del gobierno georgiano de iniciar una escalada militar en la provincia separatista de Osetia<\/a>. A d?nde no quiso llegar por razones obvias era a admitir que el ataque fue ordenado o alentado por ellos, ya que matiz? que pretendieron disuadir a Saakashvili de que no hab?a soluci?n militar al conflicto, a pesar de lo cual decidi? continuar la operaci?n.
