Ha ganado la Am?rica profunda, la rural, la ?m?rica de los que no han visto m?s all? de su terru?o, la de los que no saben ubicar ning?n otro pa?s en el mundo, la analfabeta funcional. Ha ganado la Am?rica ultrarreligiosa, mojigata, la de comuni?n diaria, la de los golpes de pecho, la del dios vengador, la del ojo por ojo, la hip?crita y farisea. Ha ganado la Am?rica de los ricos, la Am?rica de los que subastan los restos del bienestar, la del d?ficit presupuestario, la de los que van a reducir el estado al m?nimo, la de los que s?lo van a conservar el aparato militar preciso para favorecer la hegemon?a de sus empresas.
