Ni el jordano, ni los jefes rebeldes se encuentran en Faluya, han afirmado hoy los voceros del Pent?gono. Ante tan tajante informaci?n ?detendr?n la ofensiva sobre la ciudad? ?regresar?n las tropas a sus bases en territorio ocupado?. Los bombardeos, el estado de sitio y los ataques que comenzaron hace un par de d?as se han justificado una y otra vez con la excusa de que Abu Mussad al Zarqaui ten?a all? su centro operativo ?cosa que siempre negaron sus habitantes?. ?Estamos pues ante una mentira similar a la que usaron para justificar la guerra? Parece obvio que s?. <\/p>\n

La otra trola de hoy es que van a destinar 90 millones de d?lares para reconstruir la ciudad. As? deben estar machac?ndola con la artiller?a y los bombardeos a?reos!<\/p>\n

Pero lo que m?s me ha llamado la atenci?n es que dicen que han encontrado a determinado n?mero de combatientes extranjeros en la ciudad. No se si ser? verdad, pero es bien sabido que hay casi 15.000 no iraqu?es luchando en Faluya. ?Y esos no escandalizan al terrorista y t?tere de Alaui?<\/p>\n

Jefes rebeldes, entre ellos el islamista jordano Abu Moussab Al-Zarqaui, probablemente huyeron de la localidad de Faluya (oeste de Bagdad), asediada por las fuerzas estadounidenses desde el lunes, indic? hoy un alto dirigente del Ej?rcito estadounidense.<\/p>\n

\u00abConsidero personalmente que algunos altos responsables (rebeldes) huyeron\u00bb, dijo el general Thomas Metz en Bagdad durante una conferencia de prensa retransmitida en el Pent?gono. A su juicio, el islamista Zarqaui, enemigo n?mero uno de Estados Unidos, no se encontraba ya en Faluya.<\/p>\n

Agreg? que una decena de soldados estadounidenses muri? durante el asalto a la localidad y sostuvo que \u00abse esperan jornadas de combates dif?ciles\u00bb.
