Se sigue complicando el panorama norteamericano en Irak. Informes internos desvelados por NYT avisan de que la retirada de Faluya no ser? posible, ya que la resistencia se har?a de nuevo con el control de la ciudad en muy poco tiempo. La celebraci?n de las elecciones se complicar?a enormemente, ya que ni el operativo invasor podr?a abarcar todo el territorio (son \u00abs?lo\u00bb 140.000 soldados), ni habr?a marines suficientes podr?a adiestrar a mucha m?s polic?a, y es que adem?s, que entre otras cosas, cada d?a es m?s dif?cil reclutar a colaboracionistas para tal menester.<\/p>\n
Y por si no fuera poco, tras cerrar los puentes de Mosul, se lleva anunciando varios d?as una inminente acci?n contra los 300 rebeldes que operan en la ciudad. Ya hay 3000 valientes soldados apostados en las afueras de la gran ciudad del norte de Irak preparados para atacar en cualquier momento. Veremos si se desata otra carnicer?a como la de Faluya.<\/p>\n
En la ciudad s?mbolo de la resistencia a?n operan grupos de rebeldes movi?ndose por entre los escombros, golpeando y huyendo de un lado a otro sin que los marines puedan hacer poco m?s que \u00abalumbrar\u00bb el sitio en el que se encuentran para que helic?pteros o aviones destruyan por completo el edificio en el que se oculta. Cuando acabe la censura impuesta en el asalto, y se permita el regreso de periodistas y civiles, veremos el lamentable estado de ruina en que han dejado la ciudad y los expeditivos medios usados por la mayor maquinaria de guerra del mundo contra unos pocos desharrapados con armas ligeras. <\/p>\n
