Forma parte del Foro Social Mundial desde sus inicios en 2001 trabajando especialmente en los ejes transversales de alternativas a la globalizaci\u00f3n y derecho a la comunicaci\u00f3n adem\u00e1s de g\u00e9nero y diversidad. Lolita ha sido amenazada, perseguida, criminalizada y judicializada por sus acciones en defensa de la tierra y el territorio. Galardonada con el premio Ignacio Ellacuria, por su defensa de los derechos humanos 2017. Y su nominaci\u00f3n al premio El Premio S\u00e1jarov para la Libertad de Conciencia, versi\u00f3n 2017.
