Aunque los anarcosindicalistas lo conocemos como \u00abA las barricadas\u00bb, en realidad su nombre es la Varsoviana,  Varshavianka, Warschawjanka o Warsovienne, dependiendo del idioma en el que se pronuncie. Y es que como sus propios nombre indican, la canci?n naci? en Varsovia en el siglo XIX en momentos en que Rusia hab?a invadido Polonia. Un poeta, Waclaw Swiecicki, la escribi? preso en la c?rcel de esa ciudad cuando protestaba contra la ocupaci?n. La m?sica se basa en una canci?n popular polaca y bien pronto se convirti? en un s?mbolo de solidaridad internacional obrera con Polonia. Ya en el siglo XX, en los a?os previos a la Guerra Civil espa?ola, se adapt? la letra y m?sica y lleg? a ser muy popular entre las gentes de la CNT, de manera similar a lo que supon?a para los movimientos obreros polaco, ruso y alem?n.<\/p>\n<p>Desde hace unos d?as, he estado recopilando diferentes versiones de \u00abA las barricadas\u00bb y, aunque no he conseguido todas las que conozco de su existencia, s? que constituyen un grupo suficiente para enaltecer el esp?ritu revolucionario.
