A pesar de las promesas de Obama, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rebelion.org\/noticia.php?id=88539\">nada ha cambiado en Afganist\u00e1n o Pakist\u00e1n desde la era Bush<\/a>. Para evitar el cuerpo a cuerpo, se lanzan una y otra vez operaciones a\u00e9reas con aviones no tripulados contra objetivos se\u00f1alados desde tierra por traidores locales o usando informaciones de inteligencia. El resultado, centenares de muertos civiles y odio y m\u00e1s odio acumulado a los extranjeros. Aquellos que llegaron como salvadores son crecientemente vistos como los que han destruido al pa\u00eds, como los falsarios que prometieron pacificar y reconstruir Afganist\u00e1n y, por contra, la entregaron de nuevo a la guerra, a la muerte y a la droga.<\/p>\n<p>Se env\u00edan nuevos contingentes militares con cuentagotas pero siempre son insuficientes. Seg\u00fan los expertos se necesitan decenas de miles, quiz\u00e1 centenares de miles, de efectivos para asegurar el control del abrupto pa\u00eds y poder lograr los significativos avances que se necesitan en aras de la seguridad y la prosperidad que tantas veces han pronosticado para justificar la invasi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Hasta que el cambio de estrategia sea algo m\u00e1s que palabras en el discurso de Obama, hasta que no se den cuenta de que no hay salida posible al avispero afgano, el invasor tendr\u00e1 que soportar lo que justamente est\u00e1 sucediendo estos d\u00edas: muertes y m\u00e1s muertes. Todas las alarmas se han encendido esta semana en el Reino Unido cuando <a href=\"http:\/\/es.noticias.yahoo.com\/12\/20090711\/twl-los-muertos-britanicos-en-afganistan-ba734b9_1.html\">se ha sobrepasado el n\u00famero de bajas provocadas por la invasi\u00f3n de Irak<\/a>, 184 \u00a0frente a 179 . Si tenemos en cuenta que en Afganist\u00e1n hay 5 veces menos tropas de la media que hubo en el pa\u00eds babil\u00f3nico, se entiende la preocupaci\u00f3n. Entre ellas se ha producido la <a href=\"http:\/\/www.publico.es\/internacional\/236494\/afganistan\/britanicos\/muertos\">muerte de uno de los principales jefes de las tropas brit\u00e1nicas<\/a> sobre el terreno, el teniente coronel Rupert Thorneloe que <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lavanguardia.es\/internacional\/noticias\/20090703\/53737052739\/muere-uno-de-los-principales-comandantes-britanicos-en-la-ofensiva-en-afganistan.html\">dirig\u00eda el\u00a0Primer Batall\u00f3n de los Guardas Galeses<\/a><strong>, <\/strong>el soldado de m\u00e1s alto rango muerto en combate en casi una treintena de a\u00f1os. Pero adem\u00e1s, otros 15 militares han ca\u00eddo en diversas operaciones en la provincia sure\u00f1a de Helmand, responsabilidad de las tropas brit\u00e1nicas en las que han tenido que acudir m\u00e1s de 4000 marines para tratar de recuperar un control perdido a manos de los insurgentes. Lo que se preve\u00eda un paseo militar breve ,est\u00e1 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.adn.es\/politica\/20090708\/NWS-0849-Afganistan-paciencia-requiere-ministro-defensa.html\">encontrando una fuerte resistencia<\/a>y, aunque est\u00e1n recuperando aldeas poco a poco, la estrategia de la guerra de guerrillas contempla la retirada en operaciones de tan desigual potencia y esperar a que disminuyan los efectivos enemigos para golpear por sorpresa y retroceder.\u00a0A los norteamericanos tampoco les va especialmente bien.
