Ayer la secretaria de estado norteamericana dijo en Bangkok que su pa?s no iba a dejar a su suerte a los aliados regionales si, finalmente, Ir?n desarrolla armamento nuclear. Afirm? que iba a emplearse a fondo en instalar paraguas defensivos en la zona y que iba a desplazar poder?o militar para intimidar a Teher?n.<\/p>\n<p>Concretamente <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ansa.it\/ansalatina\/notizie\/rubriche\/mundo\/20090722195834919050.html\">sus palabras fueron estas<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Queremos que Ir?n tome en cuenta esto: si Estados Unidos extiende su defensa en la regi?n, si aumenta su apoyo a la capacidad militar de sus socios en el Golfo, Teher?n no podr? ser m?s fuerte o m?s seguro porque no ser? capaz de intimidar o dominar como aparentemente cree poder hacer una vez que alcance un arma nuclear<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>?Qu? se desprende de ellas? Pues que de la amenaza con sanciones o de una intervenci?n militar a gran escala, el imperio parece optar por m?todos m?s indirectos para detener el programa nuclear civil iran?. En resumidas cuentas que, aunque no le guste, EEUU baraja la posibilidad de que Ir?n desarrolle armas at?micas y no tratar? de evitarlo por la fuerza al contrario de lo que Bush dec?a un d?a s? y otro tambi?n. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.elpais.com\/articulo\/internacional\/Israel\/califica\/error\/palabras\/Hillary\/elpepuint\/20090723elpepiint_1\/Tes\">La reacci?n de Israel es f?cil de imaginar <\/a>y no ha sido precisamente de loas y alabanzas a Clinton&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Ni que decir tiene que el programa nuclear de enriquecimiento de uranio iran? sigue t?cnicamente en niveles civiles y nadie puede aportar pruebas de lo contrario. De lo que se trata es de evitar a toda costa que Ir?n tenga acceso a la tecnolog?a nuclear porque en un futuro podr?a desviarla para fines b?licos, algo que ocurre de manera similar con todas las naciones del planeta sin que nadie solicite la renuncia a ese derecho inalienable o que se busquen extra?as f?rmulas para lograr el abastecimiento de combustible at?mico.
