Los expertos dicen que es el mayor ling\u00fcista vivo, de hecho se estudia en los libros de texto de medio mundo. Sin embargo, es m\u00e1s conocido por sus mordaces an\u00e1lisis de la pol\u00edtica exterior norteamericana y sobre el papel m\u00e1s propagand\u00edstico que informativo de los medios de comunicaci\u00f3n de su pa\u00eds y de las grandes multinacionales del sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A Chomsky no le hacen falta presentaciones, tampoco publicidad. Pero fue durante el memorable discurso de Ch\u00e1vez en la Asamblea General de Naciones Unidas de 20\/9\/2006 cuando llam\u00f3 a Bush \u00abdiablo\u00bb cuando tuvo su minuto de gloria m\u00e1s global. El presidente venezolano empu\u00f1\u00f3 durante un rato el libro \u00abHegemon\u00eda o supervivencia. La estrategia imperialista de Estados Unidos\u00bb y recomend\u00f3 a todo el mundo su lectura para comprender el papel de EEUU en el mundo. Ni que decir tiene que se convirti\u00f3 r\u00e1pidamente en un best seller en un pa\u00eds en el que no es demasiado le\u00eddo y donde incluso ha tenido problemas para publicar algunos de sus libros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Justamente ando leyendo ahora uno de los \u00faltimos libros de Chomsky en el que se analiza, entre otras cosas, el discurso de Ch\u00e1vez y el tratamiento que se le dio en los medios de comunicaci\u00f3n norteamericanos. Os dejo una cita:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>SI DE VERDAD HUBIERA PERIODISMO EN ESTE PA\u00cdS, HABLAR\u00cdAN DE LAS POL\u00cdTICAS DE RUMSFELD Y DE CH\u00c1VEZ, NO DE LA RET\u00d3RICA QUE EMPLEAN. ESO ES COTILLEO. (\u2026) LO IMPORTANTE ES EL CONTENIDO, QUE SE ELUDI\u00d3 SISTEM\u00c1TICAMENTE EN LOS COMENTARIOS AL RECIENTE DISCURSO DE CH\u00c1VEZ. EL NEW YORK TIMES INFORM\u00d3 DE QUE CH\u00c1VEZ \u00abRECIBI\u00d3 UNA SONORA OVACI\u00d3N QUE DUR\u00d3 TANTO QUE LOS ORGANIZADORES TUVIERON QUE DECIR A LA AUDIENCIA QUE DEJASE DE APLAUDIR\u00bb. CUALQUIER PERIODISTA O COMENTARISTA SERIO SE HAR\u00cdA LA SIGUIENTE PREGUNTA: \u00bfPOR QU\u00c9 RECIBI\u00d3 CH\u00c1VEZ UNA GRAN OVACI\u00d3N? \u00bfES PORQUE LLAM\u00d3 A BUSH \u00abDIABLO\u00bb? NO, FUE PORQUE ESTABA EXPRESANDO UN PUNTO DE VISTA QUE, DE HECHO, COMPARTEN MUCHAS PERSONAS EN EL MUNDO. Ayer Chomsky visit\u00f3 a Ch\u00e1vez en Caracas, concretamente en el palacio de Miraflores, donde indic\u00f3 que el presidente impulsa un cambio hacia un mundo diferente y profiri\u00f3 palabras de elogio hacia su persona que imagino habr\u00e1n sentado como una patada en el est\u00f3mago a sus detractores en el gobierno de EEUU y en las corporaciones medi\u00e1ticas que manejan la informaci\u00f3n en el mundo:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>HABLAR DE LA PAZ Y CRITICAR A AQUELLOS QUE EST\u00c1N EN CONTRA DE LA PAZ ES F\u00c1CIL, LO DIF\u00cdCIL ES CREAR UN NUEVO MUNDO, UN MUNDO DIFERENTE.
