V?zquez a Washington. Hillary dijo sentirse inquieta ante la carrera armament?stica en Am?rica Latina iniciada ?seg?n su parecer? por Venezuela. El origen de este nuevo ataque a la rep?blica bolivariana es la compra a Rusia de sistemas de defensa antia?rea y algunos tanques modelo T72. Da igual que Venezuela sea uno de los pa?ses de la regi?n que menos gasto militar por habitante efect?e, tampoco se le ocurre relacionar el dato con la amenaza real que suponen las bases norteamericanas en el pa?s vecino, eso da igual. Lo ?nico que interesa es atacar a Ch?vez con todas las armas disponibles a su alcance: golpes de estado, medios de comunicaci?n, alianzas militares, financiaci?n de la oposici?n pol?tica y militar, etc.<\/p>\n<p>Con diferencia, Colombia es el pa?s m?s poderoso desde el punto de vista militar en la regi?n, tanto por n?mero de soldados como por poder?o armament?stico. En cuanto a <a href=\"http:\/\/sp.rian.ru\/analysis\/20090909\/123030815.html\">gasto militar frente al PIB en Latinoam?rica<\/a>, tras Ecuador y Chile que alcanzan el 3,81 y el 3,73% respectivamente, se sit?a Colombia con un nada despreciable 3,34%, muy lejos de Venezuela que <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eluniversal.com\/2009\/09\/16\/int_ava_paises-suramericanos_16A2748451.shtml\">raro es el a?o que supera el 1,5%<\/a>, muy cerca del m?nimo continental. Pero cualquier dato estad?stico o cualquier realidad no son relevantes ni contra la desfachatez pol?tica ni contra la maquinaria propagand?stica norteamericana. Pero no hay nada nuevo bajo el sol, ya EEUU critic? una compra de fusiles destinados a hacer complicada una invasi?n que pretendiera hacerse con los recursos petroleros de Venezuela, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bitsrojiverdes.org\/wordpress\/?p=475\">ech? por tierra un acuerdo espa?ol para la venta de aviones<\/a> de carga por contener elementos ?de patente USAmericana. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bitsrojiverdes.org\/wordpress\/?p=513\">Lo mismo sucedi? en su momento con Ir?n<\/a> y con cualquier pa?s que se sienta amenazado, es obvio que pretenda defenderse por todos los medios a su alcance. Ch?vez en unas declaraciones efectuadas ayer mismo tras la cumbre de UNASUR manifest? sentirse amenazado directamente por Estados Unidos por la instalaci?n de bases en Colombia y la por f<a href=\"http:\/\/www.aporrea.org\/tiburon\/n142332.html\">alta de informaci?n sobre los detalles del acuerdo militar<\/a> por parte de Uribe quien, algo tendr? que ocultar si, a pesar de las presiones recibidas por todos sus colegas, no ha querido ni ofrecer ni garant?as del uso interno de las bases, ni proporcionar la menor informaci?n fidedigna sobre el asunto.<\/p>\n<p>Pero Hillary si se siente facultada para pedir explicaciones sobre el por qu? de la compra de armamento por parte de Venezuela y de sus objetivos. Ni que decir tiene que <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eluniversal.com\/2009\/09\/16\/pol_ava_maduro-dice-que-decl_16A2746929.shtml\">la respuesta del gobierno bolivariano ha sido tan contundente como podr?a esperarse, en esta ocasi?n, por boca de su canciller, Nicol?s Maduro<\/a>, o en declaraciones del representante venezolano ante la OEA, Roy Chaderton, quien adem?s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.minci.gob.ve\/noticias-internacionales\/1\/192064\/%5Cla_difamacion_contra.html\">se?al? como amenazas crecientes la IV Flota o el Comando Sur de EEUU<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Lo que cada d?a resulta m?s notable es que la hegemon?a del imperio depende, m?s que de su econom?a menguante, de su poder?o militar y que cualquier afrenta a este en cualquier lugar del planeta no hace sino contribuir a su declive como ?nica superpotencia mundial. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.house.gov\/paul\/congrec\/congrec2006\/cr021506.htm\">En palabras del congresista norteamericano Ron Paul<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Ir?nicamente, la superioridad del d?lar depende de nuestra fortaleza militar, y nuestra fortaleza militar depende del d?lar.
