En la reciente conferencia para la revisi?n del TNP celebrada en la ONU, los 189 pa?ses firmantes del Tratado han pedido por unanimidad el desarme nuclear en Oriente Pr?ximo y le han exigido a Israel que participe en una conferencia a celebrar en 2012 para lograr una regi?n libre de armas nucleares.<\/p>\n<p>Tanto Tel Aviv como Washington se han manifestado disgustados ante la resoluci?n, ya que obligar?a a Israel ha ser inspeccionado de la misma manera que Ir?n lo est? haciendo y desmonta la pol?tica de EEUU hacia la rep?blica isl?mica al situar el problema justo en el lugar que le corresponde. Es obvio que el estado nuclear sionista nunca va a ser objeto del control de la ONU (a pesar de ser un hijo bastardo de ?sta), pero el hecho de que el debate nuclear se sit?e en un contexto m?s amplio puede ser considerado como un fuerte varapalo a los espurios intereses de ambas potencias y a sus planes belicistas. Cada vez que a Ir?n se le exija cumplir una nueva exigencia por la v?a de la presi?n o de las sanciones este acuerdo un?nime ser? puesto encima de la mesa exigiendo la reciprocidad pol?tica.<\/p>\n<p>Cabr?a preguntarse pues por qu? EEUU ha accedido a firmar la declaraci?n y no ha puesto toda la maquinaria de su poder para tumbarla o vetarla. La cosa es bien sencilla, si hubiera hecho tal cosa, es probable que la propia existencia del TNP se hubiera visto amenazada, ya que no hubiera soportado otro sonado fracaso derivado del cumplimiento de justamente aquello para lo que fue creado: la no proliferaci?n. Y es que se da la circunstancia de que su gran aliado en la regi?n es el ?nico poseedor de armas nucleares y lo acaban de retratar en p?blico ante todo el mundo.
