A pesar de que fue un compromiso adquirido tras el accidente, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tercerainformacion.es\/spip.php?article17782\">el gobierno de Obama ha decidido unilateralmente que ya est? bien de hacerse cargo de la factura del accidente<\/a> y que ahora el estado espa?ol tiene que hacerse cargo de todo. Sin embargo, ya no s?lo se trata de de los estudios m?dicos a la poblaci?n y el control ambiental rutinario. Gracias al casual hallazgo en 2003 de unos <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bitsrojiverdes.org\/wordpress\/?p=740\">caracoles radiactivos<\/a> en un barrio de Palomares, Cuevas de Almanzora, se descubri? que los americanos hab?an enterrado material contaminado bajo tierra sin decir nada a nadie y que ahora la radiaci?n imped?a el desarrollo urban?stico del ?rea. Desde ese momento, los gastos de descontaminaci?n se incrementaron en 25 millones de euros que, obviamente, deber?an ser abonados por los responsables del accidente y los materiales contaminados llevados a EEUU, ya que el cementerio nuclear de El Cabril no est? adaptado para albergar este tipo de plutonio al estar dise?ado para materiales de baja y media actividad. Se desconoce la posici?n oficial de de nuestro gobierno ya que no ha habido respuesta a la noticia dada por El Pa?s hace casi una semana, es de suponer que la cosa se est? negociando entre bambalinas, lejos de los taqu?grafos. Pero la oposici?n tampoco ha movido ficha, ya les vale.<\/p>\n<p>Todo indica que el aliado americano, una vez m?s, nos deja en la estacada, obviando los costosos favores que asume nuestro pa?s en su guerra en Afganist?n o la inexplicable cesi?n de soberan?a que suponen las bases norteamericanas en nuestro territorio.
