Pero aunque parezca que los problemas de discriminaci?n de las mujeres son cosa de culturas lejanas, en nuestro propio entorno a?n queda mucho por hacer. Y no es suficiente con hablar de brechas salariales, de violencia de g?nero o de la oportunidad o no de las listas cremallera. La participaci?n de las f?minas en la toma de decisiones p?blicas en occidente, salvo en algunos pa?ses n?rdicos, sigue siendo pr?cticamente testimonial. Seguimos viviendo en un patriarcado, en un mundo de hombres, con los valores masculinos domin?ndolo todo&#8230; y as? nos va.<\/p>\n<p>Ya es hora de dar un vuelco definitivo a la situaci?n, es hora incluso de dar un paso atr?s. Si este desastre de mundo es lo mejor que hemos sabido hacer los hombres, deber?amos replantearnos el estado de las cosas. Un cambio de paradigma, adem?s de ser un paso de gigante para superar las sangrantes desigualdades de g?nero, para cambiar las viciadas reglas del juego, servir?a igualmente para liberarnos a nosotros, los hombres, del rol que esta sociedad nos impone asumir desde peque?os, el papel de dominador, negando inconscientemente la libertad para vivir en una realidad paritaria.
