Nada m?s llegar para tomar el control del peque?o pa?s del Golfo, los mercenarios saud?es se han puesto manos a la obra y han comenzado una brutal represi?n de los manifestantes pac?ficos que claman en favor de la democracia. Seg?n organizaciones de derechos humanos, hasta las ambulancias est?n siendo objeto de los ataques de las fuerzas enviadas por la dictadura saud? que trabajan en colaboraci?n con las del no menos antidemocr?tico r?gimen de los al Khalifa para evitar ceder ante la presi?n ciudadana en demanda de reformas pol?ticas que traigan la libertad al pa?s. De momento se han contabilizado dos nuevos muertos y centenares de heridos por disparos de escopetas, aunque la cifra puede aumentar a medida de que se conozcan los datos.<\/p>\n
La ?nica reforma anunciada por su majestad Hamad Ben Isa al Jalifa?ha sido decretar el estado de excepci?n por tres meses y acaparar poderes excepcionales para reprimir con m?s facilidad al pueblo indefenso. La Casa Blanca no ha condenado la invasi?n de mercenarios saud?es (y de otros pa?ses del Golfo P?rsico) y se ha limitado a pedir ?moderaci?n?. Quedar?a por ver qu? har?an o dir?an si el gobierno liban?s pidiera apoyo a militares de Ir?n para contener las manifestaciones de sunitas y drusos contra el candidato propuesto por Hezbollah.<\/p>\n
La ONU ha declarado estar muy preocupada por lo sucedido, pero poco m?s. Por otra parte, la UE se ha limitado a ?tomar nota? de lo sucedido y ha pedido contenci?n a las partes para evitar m?s v?ctimas.
