Cuando hay problemas nucleares los gobiernos y buena parte de los poderes medi?ticos siempre tienden a minimizarlo todo. Por eso cuando se produce alg?n tipo de contingencia, siempre hay que apostar porque es mucho m?s grave de lo que nos cuentan. Por eso desde el primer minuto decid? tratar someramente el tema en los biTs cuando la mayor?a de los peri?dicos de nuestro pa?s pasaban por alto la noticia entre tanta informaci?n referente al terremoto y al tsunami. Como siempre en fen?menos noticiables en ebullici?n, el medio de comunicaci?n por excelencia es Twitter. La estrategia es conseguir los nombre de las personas clave que est?n viviendo la noticia en primera persona y suscribirte a sus twits para conocer de verdad, sin intermediarios, lo que est? aconteciendo en un determinado lugar o situaci?n. Hoy, sin embargo, la mayor?a de los twitteros a los que sigo de Jap?n hab?an optado por rebajar la tensi?n y desmentir lo que se publicaba en los medios no japoneses.<\/p>\n
Pero si algo es susceptible de empeorar en el tema nuclear, demos por seguro que empeorar?. Las centrales nucleares de Fukushima est?n cayendo como un castillo de naipes. S?lo ha explotado el hangar, no hay contaminaci?n, el reactor est? intacto, s?lo es vapor, la radiaci?n emitida es como la de media radiograf?a, no se ha fundido el n?cleo, nivel 4 de 7… son algunas de las cosas que me han llegado hoy por este medio de comunicaci?n. Sin embargo, conforme se van conociendo datos precisos, la cosa se pone cada vez peor. Cuatro de los seis reactores est?n en proceso de fusi?n y con grandes grietas en el reactor. La nube radiactiva ha llegado a Rusia a centenares de kil?metros, concretamente hasta Vladivostok. El per?metro de evacuaci?n llega ya a los 30 km y adem?s incluye una zona de exclusi?n a?rea. Probablemente, de seguir as? la situaci?n ?y ojal? me equivoque? nunca m?s se pueda volver a ocupar parte o la totalidad de esos terrenos para uso residencial, la radiactividad en torno a la central no va a caer en un breve plazo de tiempo y todo apunta a que va a incrementarse hasta l?mites insospechados. Como m?nimo, el reactor 4 ya ha liberado radiactividad libremente a la atm?sfera y el 2 tiene grandes grietas en su estructura de contenci?n.<\/p>\n
Merkel ha decidido apagar las centrales nucleares m?s viejas, las construidas antes de 1980. Y no es sospechosa precisamente de comulgar mucho con las ideolog?as verdes. Parar casi la mitad de las centrales, aunque sea por un breve lapsus de tiempo es una medida dr?stica que no se toma as? como as?, sobre todo porque la ciudadan?a no va a entender que se encienda de nuevo una planta ya caducada despu?s de lo que se ha visto en Jap?n y de lo que est? por ver.<\/p>\n
Hay que abrir el debate nuclear, pero desde ahora mismo, no cuando se olviden los ecos del desastre japon?s ?que es a lo que juega tanto el PSOE como el PP?, cuando se intente encubrir bajo el argot t?cnico la aplastante realidad: que las nucleares no son seguras, no son rentables, no son limpias y no son la soluci?n al efecto invernadero.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
