El Tratado de No Proliferaci?n de Armas Nucleares garantiza el derecho al enriquecimiento de uranio a cualquier signatario del mismo:<\/p>\n

Article IV<\/p>\n

1. Nothing in this Treaty shall be interpreted as affecting the inalienable right of all the Parties to the Treaty to develop research, production and use of nuclear energy for peaceful purposes without discrimination and in conformity with Articles I and II of this Treaty.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

<\/i><\/p>\n

Por lo tanto, no hay ninguna raz?n objetiva para prohibirle a Ir?n la continuaci?n de su programa nuclear civil. M?xime cuando los inspectores de la AIEA afirman no haber encontrado una sola prueba de que los fines del mismo encubren un programa de desarrollo de armamento at?mico. As? lo ha reconocido la comunidad internacional cuando hace unos pocos d?as defendi? en?rgicamente ese derecho en Malasia en el encuentro del Movimiento de Pa?ses No Alineados, que agrupa a un total de 116 pa?ses, tal y como se recoge en el comunicado final de la organizaci?n<\/a>.<\/p>\n

En ese contexto se entiende que Solana va en estos momentos camino a Teher?n para ofrecer algunas prebendas a Ahmadineyad para tratar de conseguir que Ir?n renuncie al derecho inalienable que tiene cualquier pa?s de desarrollar fuentes de energ?a para abastecer las necesidades de su poblaci?n y su econom?a. Pero bien grandes tienen que ser los regalos para que los iran?es cedan parte de la soberan?a nacional, no creo que se dejen convencer con unos espejitos brillantes y cuatro abalorios. <\/p>\n

Sea como fuere el desenlace, una cosa es segura. La propuesta de los pa?ses del Consejo de Seguridad es un reconocimiento impl?cito de la legalidad del programa nuclear iran?. Eso s? que es un avance. S?lo falta que se haga expl?cito para sentar las bases de una negociaci?n justa, de lo contrario podr?a parecer lo que hasta el momento es, una exigencia de rendici?n ante las amenazas del imperio, algo que el r?gimen iran?, tan dado a las poses dial?cticas, no har? en ning?n caso. Sobre todo si sabe positivamente que no podr?n decretarle un embargo comercial so pena de sumir a medio mundo a una profunda crisis econ?mica, la cual podr?a agravarse si EEUU o Israel toman la decisi?n de atacar unilateralmente a la rep?blica isl?mica.<\/p>\n

La soluci?n a la crisis creada por EEUU y Europa pasa por respetar el programa nuclear y someterlo a las mismas inspecciones de la AIEA que tienen otros estados firmantes del Tratado para asegurarse que no se sobrepasa la l?nea roja que separa el desarrollo civil del armament?stico. Cualquier otra consideraci?n adicional ser?a una afrenta inaceptable para cualquier pa?s soberano. <\/p>\n

Si esto no ocurre, a Ir?n no le quedar?a otra opci?n que abandonar el TNP y actuar al margen de la supervisi?n de los inspectores, algo que ya han hecho Israel, Corea del Norte o India con el resultado ya conocido: se han convertido en potencias nucleares.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
