Durante una conferencia de ministros de Defensa de la OTAN en Bruselas, Panetta dijo que los EE.UU. han estado trabajando con Jordania para supervisar los sitios de armas qu?micas y biol?gicas en Siria y para ayudar a lidiar con los refugiados sirios que han traspasado la frontera con Jordania. Estas declaraciones de Panetta contrastan con la informaci?n difundida hace unas horas por los medios jordanos, que aseguran que ?una fuente oficial del Comando General de las Fuerzas Armadas neg? la informaci?n de algunos medios de comunicaci?n sobre la presencia de las fuerzas de EE.UU. en Jordania para ayudar a los refugiados sirios o con el fin de ayudar a las Fuerzas Armadas de Jordania a hacer frente a los riesgos relacionados con las armas qu?micas?. Washington est? inventando pretextos para colocar sus tropas en las fronteras sirias, opina, por su parte, el analista Juan Luis Gonz?lez P?rez. ?Ahora han buscado una nueva excusa, en este caso el tema de los refugiados y de las armas qu?micas, para lograr desestabilizar otra frontera siria?, insiste. El conflicto sirio dio un giro inesperado la semana pasada cuando el fuego de morteros traspas? la frontera con la vecina Turqu?a, lo que provoc? protestas por parte del Gobierno de Ankara, que posteriormente devolvi? el fuego. Turqu?a despleg? 25 aviones de combate F-16 para reforzar sus fronteras esta semana, mientras que la OTAN se comprometi? a apoyarlos si el conflicto sirio se expande a su territorio.<\/p>\n<p><a
