Probablemente fuera as\u00ed en tiempos, pero desde que el grupo inici\u00f3 sus aventuras americanas en editoriales, prensa y radio, el presunto prestigio de que dispon\u00eda el diario se ha ido diluyendo hasta l\u00edmites insospechados. El Pa\u00eds, fundamentalmente en pol\u00edtica internacional y particularmente en Latinoam\u00e9rica, forma parte inequ\u00edvoca de la corriente neoconservadora m\u00e1s retr\u00f3grada del panorama mundial, aline\u00e1ndose con las pol\u00edticas de pa\u00edses conocidos por las vulneraciones masivas de los derechos humanos o con las pol\u00edticas de patio trasero norteamericanas.<\/p>\n<p>Es por eso, que el garrafal error que han cometido en el d\u00eda de hoy no debe ser contemplado como un mero gazapo, sino como la consecuencia de la inquina tan irracional que profesan sus propietarios contra los reg\u00edmenes que en el continente est\u00e1n tratando de zafarse del dominio de su todopoderoso vecino del norte. El error de hoy es poco menos que el de un bloguero aficionado que trabaja apasionada y desinteresadamente en pos de una causa o idea. Un patinazo de este tipo no puede ser cometido por quien se autoconsidera una publicaci\u00f3n seria y de referencia mundial. Lo m\u00ednimo exigible es el contraste de las fuentes de lo que parece ser una exclusiva relevante.<\/p>\n<p>Cada d\u00eda se publican miles de fakes, de hoaxs, de correos virales con mal\u00e9volos intereses disfrazados bajo un velo de asepsia\u2026 en los que tropiezan miles de incautos. Recordemos a modo de ejemplo algunos de los que ayudamos aqu\u00ed a desvelar, como esas supuestas bodas masivas de Hamas en Palestina con ni\u00f1as de 4 o 5 a\u00f1os que en realidad eran damitas de honor que representaban a sus madres viudas casaderas que esperaban en la mezquita cuyos maridos hab\u00edan muerto asesinados a manos de Israel; o aquella falacia de los 500.000 pol\u00edticos que viv\u00edan del erario p\u00fablico en nuestro pa\u00eds, que en realidad eran infinitamente menos y en un n\u00famero coherente con el resto de los pa\u00edses de nuestro entorno. Un plantel de periodistas, documentalistas, redactores\u2026 como el que tiene El Pa\u00eds deber\u00eda cerciorarse suficientemente antes de publicar en portada una foto como la de un Ch\u00e1vez entubado y agonizante.<\/p>\n<p>El entusiasmo en anunciar noticias sobre el mal estado de salud de una persona que le ha impedido amasar ping\u00fces beneficios empresariales en Venezuela, unido a la avidez por publicar una primicia mundial en exclusiva, ha podido con ellos. La mala baba y la avaricia les ha roto el saco y les ha practicado un nuevo descosido en la credibilidad y en el prestigio que dec\u00edan poseer.
