Novartis pretend?a acabar con ciertas disposiciones de la ley de patentes hind? por impedir patentar el Glivec, un medicamento contra la leucemia que no era sino la combinaci?n de productos ya sintetizados que no supon?an novedades suficientes como para ser merecedora de una patente que para lo ?nico que servir?a es para engrosar las arcas de esta multinacional suiza. El tribunal se ha declarado incompetente y ha desestimado el recurso.<\/p>\n<p>India es el pa?s que m?s gen?ricos de bajo precio produce de todo el mundo, sin su contribuci?n los pa?ses en v?as de desarrollo no podr?an sufragar los caros tratamientos para multitud de enfermedades, por eso esta victoria ha sido recibida con satisfacci?n por organizaciones como <a href=\"http:\/\/actualidad.terra.es\/sociedad\/articulo\/oxfam_novartis_califica_veredicto_victoria_1763397.htm\">Intermon Oxfam<\/a> o <a href=\"http:\/\/www.finanzas.com\/id.9180884\/noticias\/noticia.htm\">M?dicos sin Fronteras<\/a>. Obviamente <a href=\"Novartis pierde la batalla contra gen?ricos en la India\">Novartis est? muy cabreada<\/a>, aunque es posible que no llegue a apelar, dejando la ley tal como est? aunque no deje de lanzar toda clase de improperios liberales acerca de sin sus beneficios se ralentizar? la investigaci?n y se perjudicar? la salud de la poblaci?n de todo el planeta.
