Ahora le ha tocado dimitir a su ?ntimo amigo Alberto Gonzales, fiscal general de los EEUU ?algo as? como el ministro de justicia y parte del de interior juntos?, colaborador estrecho del presidente desde los tiempos tejanos, quien no ha podido soportar la presi?n pol?tica y medi?tica y ha decidido retirarse de la primera l?nea de fuego en la que se hab?a situado esc?ndalo tras esc?ndalo. Sigue pues los pasos de varios de los m?s granados nombramientos del presidente procedentes del entorno del mundillo neocon y siocon de Washington como <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bitsrojiverdes.org\/wordpress\/?p=987\">Rove<\/a>, Rumsfeld, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bitsrojiverdes.org\/wordpress\/?p=767\">Bolton<\/a>, Powell o <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bitsrojiverdes.org\/wordpress\/?p=922\">Wolfowitz<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>El curr?culo de Al es impresionante, b?sicamente es el padrino de todas las medidas tomadas para recortar derechos individuales con la excusa de la lucha contra el terrorismo. La definici?n de \u00abcombatiente enemigo\u00bb para despojar de  derechos a los prisioneros de guerra enemigos es invenci?n suya y de su equipo. Es responsable de la legalizaci?n de la tortura en el sistema judicial gringo en general y en Guant?namo e Irak en particular, en su defensa no ha dudado en  manifestar en ocasiones su desprecio por la Convenci?n de Ginebra y el respeto a los Derechos Humanos. <\/p>\n<p>Fue asimismo el ide?logo del espionaje ilegal a sus propios ciudadanos sin mandato judicial y de las leyes para bendecirlo una vez que pillaron al FBI con las manos en la masa. Pero la gota que ha colmado el vaso de la dimisi?n es la depuraci?n de varios fiscales por no comulgar con los ideales pol?ticos del partido republicano ?y de paso despejar el camino a nuevos fraudes electorales? algo muy criticado en USAm?rica porque el puesto de fiscal general debe llevar aparejado cierta carga de independencia pol?tica y neutralidad, al menos formalmente.<\/p>\n<p>Actualmente estaba inmerso en la facilitaci?n de la aplicaci?n de la pena capital mediante la limitaci?n de la posibilidad de recurrir a los reos del corredor de la muerte, buscaba algo as? como ejecuciones expr?s para ahorrarle unos d?lares a la administraci?n en manutenci?n y alojamiento de los que esperan la silla el?ctrica o la inyecci?on letal. Un verdadero angelito, eso s? una persona <i>decente<\/i>, <i>devota de su familia<\/i> y muy religiosa. Como otras veces he dicho, descanse en paz.
